Trillian - cannot get rid of old identity

I needed to install Trillian on an old computer for some work. When I installed it, it comes up with an identity of a previous user from long ago when Trillian was previously installed on this computer.

So I ran Add/Delete Programs. Then ccleaner to clean up any junk.

After re-installing Trillian, it still came up with the identity and contact lists of the previous installation. And there is no apparent way to get rid of this information.

How do you cleanly remove Trillian so it does not keep preserving the old info?

Make sure that the Trillian directory and all of its contents is completely deleted after you uninstall it.

If you are on Vista or Windows 7, user data for Trillian is not contained in the Trillian directory. Instead, it's at C:\Users\YourUserName\AppData\Roaming\Trillian\users

If you delete this directory, all Trillian identities will be cleared.

This is on XP. Have not gotten back to that system lately. My son fixed the issue in a different way, I think by deleting all his entries.

I am going to split the points for the contributions.
