naming your internal DNS

My company are building a new domain for staff that work in various different countries around the world, I have read that it is not recommended to use the extension .local, I was thinking about using the extension .international, would this be ok? We will be hosting exchange, any advice will be much aprreciated.

    I haven't heard of bad reasons for using .local.  In fcat I've seen most often that .local and .public are recommended.  Really, anything that isn't a regular internet domain is secure i.e. not .com and .org etc.  So yes .international would fit that fine.
