Intertel/Mitel 8622 & Asterisk

We are wanting to connect our Intertel/Mitel 8622 phones to an asterisk server.

I can see where the phones have the ability to use SIP but just need to be configured, yet I can find very little information telling you how to do this.  Can anyone point me in the right direction for a phone admin guide?

    Hello Indesign

This took some digging, according to Intertel this document is what your looking for.

As much as this manual was a step in the right direction, it's still not the one I"m looking for.

This is the end user administration manual.  I'm looking for a programming manual.  The manual provided still lacks information on how to actually change the mode of the phone and how to program the appropriate settings for the phone.

I greatly appreciate your research, it was definitely a step in the right direction.

    Accepted Solution

Have you tried calling or emailing Intertel or Mitel and ask for the manual? They'll probably just email it to you. Or they'll let you know how much it costs to buy it. Also try your local Mitel vendor tech support people.

Apparently the only way to get this information is through a vendor.
