How do I align spry validation textbox input fields?

I created a form in Dreamweaver CS4 using spry validation widgets, and I'm having 2 issues:
1.  How do I left align the labels and right align the input boxes, so my form's design will look a bit neater?
2.  When I open the form in IE, it breaks (on submit) if I don't allow ActiveX controls.  I'm afraid  some users will not allow the controls, will get an error page and not complete the form.  Is there a way to solve this?

I attached the form and the css files as text files.
Thanks!

Hi!

I have the answer to your smallest problem. The alignment:

You can just put the form in tables (do not ever use table for design, only for forms). Like this:

<table>
<form>
<tr><td>Field description first field:</td> <td><input type="text" etc.</td></tr>
<tr><td>Field description second field:</td> <td><input type="text" etc.</td></tr>
</form>
</table>

Hi there,

Thanks for the suggestion, but when I split the label and input box, I lose my spry validation (see A below).  Can you tell me how to split the spry code (see B below)

A.  TABLE FORMAT
      <tr>
        <td><span id="sprytextfield1">
      <label for="patName">Patient Name: </label></td>
        <td><input name="patName" type="text" class="text" id="patName" tabindex="170" />
    <span class="textfieldRequiredMsg">Please input patient name</span></td>
      </tr>

B.  SPRY CODE
<p><span id="sprytextfield1">
      <label for="patName">Patient Name: </label>
      <input name="patName" type="text" class="text" id="patName" tabindex="170" />
    <span class="textfieldRequiredMsg">Please input patient name</span></span>    </p>
