Access: Form Timer flash 10 times then stop

I have a form with a label. How do I make the label forecolor flash from black to red 10 times then stop. Note:  My timer interval = 300.

I can make the label flash continuously, but this can get annoying to the user, therefore when the user presses a button,  I only want it to flash 10 times to draw attention to the label then stop.

    Assisted Solution

create a global variable, form level,
in your form timer function where you do change the colour, increment this counter
then check when it reaches your desired threshold limit. Once this is done, set the timerinterval to 0 in order to stop it
