Where do I obtain the latest drivers for my motherboard components

I ran the freeware utility DiverUpdater Pro for my system (mobo: ASUS A8N-E)

and it stated that the following drivers need to be updated

NVIDIA nForce Parallel ATA Controller v5.10.2600.0666
NVIDIA nForce Serial ATA Controller v10.3.0.46

    RealTek AC'97 Audio v5.10.00.6300
    Sound Blaster Audigy v.

I searched for them over the internet and found many sites providing the setup.
But I am afraid they might contain viruses/malware.

From where can I obtain malware-free drivers for the above components.

Are you having problems with the drivers you already have? If not, there's no real reason to change them. Also, note that sometimes, these sites that scan your system for newer versions of drivers will not correctly identify the driver versions you have, and will incorrectly recommend versions that are the same or older than the ones you already have.

Here are the links to direct file downloads from the manufacturers, ASUS and Creative. Install them in the order listed.

nVidia Chipset(CK804) driver version V6.65 for Windows XP(WHQL).

This should take care of your NVIDIA nForce Parallel ATA Controller v5.10.2600.0666 and NVIDIA nForce Serial ATA Controller v10.3.0.46

To avoid crashing file system, please do update the chipset driver before updating Bios version 1006 or later

Realtek AC''97 Driver V5.10.00.5750 for Windows 2000/XP(WHQL)/2003.

You will need to specify the OS you are using, as drivers are for a particular OS.  The best source is the motherboard manufacturer, which in this case is the Asus site sysreq2000 linked to.  It didn't save the specific page, so choose motherboards, then socket 939, then A8N-E.  Select the OS version of the driver you want.
