CRM Install Fails - Action Microsoft.Crm.Setup.Server.CreateSetupUserAction failed

Good morning-
We're getting an error while re-installing CRM. The install window (above progress bar) says "Provisioning Microsoft CRM business" and then we get an error that states:
Action Microsoft.Crm.Setup.Server.CreateSetupUserAction failed.
Exception from HRESULT: 0x80040237.
Strangely enough, if we don't press Cancel, I can actually log into CRM. As soon as we cancel it seems to revert and delete website though.
Any ideas?

Thanks for the reply, Ralmada. I tried the first link with no success... which was irritating - it's a MS KB! :) I just tried adding our users to the AD groups per the second link. We'll try reinstalling and see how far it gets.

Still never got past that error. We clicked cancel and were able to use CRM though... But something's definitely broken...

Looked at that link, but I couldn't change the license key for our installation. And it was working before

What about this solution?

Question, what is your SQL version? I understand that there are compatibility issues with SQL 2005, so you might consider using SQL 2000.

We're using SQL 2000 (only ...9 years behind :D)

Seems that that points to a totally different error code.

I'm sorry then. You might want to consider contacting Microsoft support for help.

Thanks, don't feel bad. We actually had an open case with Microsoft support and they couldn't answer it either! :)

We just clicked Cancel, and were able to use CRM. I got the c360 add-ins installed and everything. I'm sure it's a landmine waiting to be found, but not much else I have found to do after a week of searching. Thanks for your help. :)
