I've coded up a feedback form.

It looked pretty plain, so i gave the text boxes a background image, set the border: none;
however, when i view on an xp machine with the winxp theme and ie7, i get a border around the text box
if i switch to windows classic theme, i dont get the issue.

any ideas?

    That's strange. What if you declare border-width: 0px;  in your css?

    border:none didn't work but border-width:0px does!
