patch and update Poweredge 2850 and powervault 220s

I have a Poweredge 2850 running esx update 3 and a powervault 220s attached for storage use. I need to update the firmware on the server and powervault. I have not done this before and I am looking for any ideas to get this done.

From support.dell.com go to drivers and downloads for the specific model. Under the System management section you will see PowerEdge Updates (.iso).

These are all the current hardware updates for this device.

Download the ISO and burn it to a CD. Then follow the directions provided from the downloads page to load the new firmware. I believe you can boot from the CD and select what to update.

You would need to download the power vault 220 update ISO separately. Use the steps I listed above to download the ISO for the Power Vault
