AOFO: Initialization failure on Backup Exec 10d

Hello,

We recently reinstalled Backup Exec 10d. Before that the jobs nearly always completed successfully but now our file system backup regularly completes with exception with the following message:

"AOFO: Initialization failure on: "C:". Advanced Open File Option used: Symantec Volume Snapshot Provider (VSP).
AOFO: Unable to get minimum quiet time for physical volumes. Reduce the activity on these volumes, or wait and run the backup when there is less activity on the volumes. "

One of the first things I did was to switch Automatic Updates services to Manual and stopped the service itself as I have seen it work on similar setups.

This hasn't done much though and would be grateful if somebody can provide me with a solution.

Thanks

Just to be sure, try out the attached article by saiprasad and the following as well:

1. Approximately 5% of disk space is available
2. Disable anti-virus during backup job window
3. Stop any database services during the backup job window.

To add, please tell us what applications does this server runs.
