DCPromo over a WAN Link

Any concerns with performing a DCPROMO over a 6MBps WAN link.  I'm bulding a new office location, AD objects are less than 500 persons.

    You should be fine, just out of curiosity how big is your ntds.dit?

    Our ntds.dit file is 65Mb.

    Yeah no problems with an AD of that size.
    After you run DCpromo also make the DC a global catalog server.
