How do I keep my Blackberry Storm Desktop Manager from deleting old data in my Microsoft Outlook calendar?

I recently purchased a blackberry storm, installed the Blackberry Desktop Manager version 4.7.0.32 and am synchronizing with Microsoft Outlook 2003.  It keeps wanting to remove older data from my Calendar.  I have already gone into the Blackberry Calendar options and changed from 60 days to Forever.  I have also changed the Sychronize options to Transfer All Scheduled items. I have also un-installed the Desktop Manger, deleted that folder and re-installed.  If anyone has any ideas, please help. Thanks in Advance, Jason.

Hi, this issue is caused by changing the default from "Synchronize future items only" to "days prior\days in advance".  To correct this you will have to take a device backup by opening Desktop Manager > Backup and Restore > Backup.  After the backup in complete start in the backup\Restore menu and select Advanced > Select "Calendar" and "Calendar - All" in the right windows and select Clear at the bottom.  After the calendar is cleared change your calendar sync settings to future items only and then sync the device.  After a few days of successful synchronizing you can go back and change the settings to days prior\future items.

Thank you for your response.  I did a backup of the device, then did a restore of the device.  Next I changed the synch options of the Calendar to "Synchronize future items only".  I will try this for a couple of days and then go from there.  Hopefully that will do the trick.
