Two pissibilities:
- Your version of Domino doesn't support indexing of Office-2007 documents. AFAIK, R8 should support it. What is your version?
- You didn't wait long enough for the full-text indexes to be updated; the indexes are not updated immediately.

Indexation of attachments in enabled in the database? I just checked here in a .docx file, there's no readable text in it and it doesn't look like an older Word file.

Either upgrade to R8 or save documents in Word 2003 format (.doc)

Looks like 8.02 is the first version to support Office 2007 documents

If you can't upgrade them you are out of luck unless you save the document in 2003 format as mentioned

I'm not going to object, but may I suggest to the Asker to read the EE-help on how to grade a solution? You could at least have split the points, and our answers should have been graded with an "A", because they are exactly right. You might not like the answer, but that's totally irrelevant when it comes to grading.
