Windows Defender MSAScui.exe

My Windows 2008 Terminal server sometimes spikes to 100% CPU with a couple of processes named MSAScui.exe, as far as i can see is this the process of windows defender. What can i do to solve this issue?

Turn off Windows Defender.

In theory you should be able to use the WSRM to mitigate against spikes but on a terminal server WSRM causes it's own issues!
