and exchange allowed you to delete it ?

do you have any other exchange server in your organisation ?

exchange needs a public folder for some system folders even if you are not using it it should be there

quickslvrAuthor Commented:
AGT.local/Configuration/Deleted Objects/Public Folder Database
DEL:2bd81246-9764-4f77-a755-c9907c300d49

if you follow the path,there no PF database

AkhaterCommented:
what i can't understand is how exchange allowed you to delete it in the first place

have you just created the second storage group or it was created ?

# Start --> Run --> ADSIEDIT>MSC
# Goto

    * Configuration --> Services --> Microsoft Exchange --> Organization --> Administrative Groups --> Exchange Administrative Group --> Servers --> YOURSERVERNAME --> InformationStore -->

right click properties on the second storage group is it inheriting permissions ?
0

quickslvrAuthor Commented:
i have local admin rights on the exchange  server.

yes,i have created the second SG.

it says, include inheritable permissions from this objects parents and it is set deny. that means,i cannot do anything on it.

AkhaterCommented:
change this to full control for your user and reset on all child objects
