FWSM ERROR: Unable to add, access-list config limit reached

i have Cisco FWSM ver 3.2, im trying to add access-list but i get this error message
any one can help , pls

It sounds like you are actually out of available access-list entries.  If you do have a huge amount of acls, you would need to simplify these by doing some cleanup.  The quickest way to cleanup and save acl numbers - and make for easier managment, is to use object-groups.

How many contexts are you running?  What are the resource-limitations?  Does all contexts need that many?

Might be you can just increase the allowed amount for this particular context..

The IOS upgrade with some rules clean up the problem is fixed
