HP Laserjet 1600

I have a laserjet 1600. It prints fine on black and white but with photos the colours are not that good of quality. The middle of he photo has a yellow tone to it and this happens sometimes on the bottom. It look as thought it has a Sephia tone to it.

Try a test print from the printer to check that it is calibrated correctly there is usually a menu option or you have to hold down a speccific set of keys.

Also check you arent using economy settings in print quality setting from start control panel > printers select printer and right click for properties.

One final thought are you using all the same make of toner cartridges.
I.E. all original HP OEM's

did you try another cartridge(s) ?
