Excel docs print as garbage with HP printer on Windows print server

I have a Windows 2003 print server and many HP printers.  I seem to run across many times when people using the print server print from Excel and the HP printer prints out garbage.  I have the newest drivers, and have tried PCL6/5e/PS and either excel docs print as garbage or t hey don't print at all.

In one case like this I had to use drivers from a different model printer (that was older) to get excel docs to print right.  Does anyone have any ideas?  This is a 2430n HP printer.

Personally, I would stay away from PCL6......

When this problem arises, do you just delete the printer, and readd it?  Or just update the drivers? If so, you might wanna remove the drivers altogether, and THEN install the printers with the latest non PCL6 ones....
