Dreamweaver used to work fine when adding recordsets and working with bindings however recently and rather suddenly it has completely crapped out on are the circumstances involved.

1. If I go to add a new recordset it lets me use the wizard however it shows an empty SQL statement which has to be manually entered

2.  If I then attempt to view the bindings for this it gives an error of "Invalid SQL statement; expected 'DELETE', 'INSERT', 'PROCEDURE', 'SELECT', or 'UPDATE'."

3.  if I attempt to use any go to detail or move to record options it will show the above error in the dialog box

4.  have tried a new site, have tried on a different pc with no prior concerns.  have tried new site on IIS

5.  Tried using webDav no go

6. ONLY...common denominator = IIS for testing.

Depending on DW for your ASP/SQL coding is a bad mistake.
Some enjoy it, until it breaks and then they are lost.

#1: Do you know how to display records from a database on your own without DW?
#2: Do you understand the concept behind the different Statements that are used?

If you would like some assistance in making your code work, I can try to help.
BUT I do not do DW code, I do the actual hand written ASP/SQL Coding.
You can use Access to build your SQL Statements for you.
Use DW (Like I do) to build your site design.

Let me know if you would like my help?

Aye I know how but the fact that its broken really bothers me =)  I was hoping someone might have a fix for it since I was learning a few things with the way it presented the code compared to how I have learned to do it.
