Using Netopia Router as Wireless Access Point in Domain

I'm trying to set up a wireless access point in our office environment.  The current wired network requires specific IP, subnet and DNS assignment on each PC as we use a domain.

I'm almost convinced at this stage that this Netopia wireless router (provided FOC by ISP) is not suitable for the job because I've tried several bridging options and manually entered the subnet and dns details depending on the Protocol settings I choose, etc.  I'm not sure which of these Protocols I should be using though, but I imagine I definitely have to provide the dns details, etc.  I've attached an image of how the web-admin page looks and the options available under 'connection configuration'.

As it stands, I can connect wirelessly to the router but not the net.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Sounds like you would be better off purchasing an access point rather than a Netopia router and trying to make it an access point.

Bridge mode may work if connecting to another router, but their might be ISP settings that need to be adjusted.  Bridge mode generally works as a pass through.  I would contact your ISP to see if they have any advice.

Ah ha, I got it working.  Turns out there were 2 routers within close proximity, and when I changed the settings on one router, the other one retained the old settings which caused a problem for wireless devices which found the network with 2 access points (same SSID), one which was not configured and one which was.  Anyway, when I changed the second router's config, there were no problems.  Thanks for the response!
