Import Data

I have an excel file that I;ve saved every way I cvs, text..etc...
Column1 has alpha alpha/num and numeric type data in it.

It will import the A221 etc...but not the numeric "looking" data.  It inserts a null value.

I have it at nvarchar(50) right now.

I'm not using a DTS package on this.  I'm using SQL Server 2005 Import Wizard
