Websense DC AGent does not work.

I can assign my policies by IP address but not yet by groups and users I have in my Active Directory of Windows 2003 server.
Please advise.

You do not need DC Agent for AD native mode authentication, you should install Logon Agent, and make sure the user service is started.
Then goto Settings/Directory Services and select Active Directory NAtive Mode, then click "Add" to add a global catalog server, enter username and password to access AD, account folder is "Users" and enter domain name.
Then goto Logon Directory, select Active Directory (native), type the Catalog server again (port is 3268), in user disting name type:
cn=username, cn=users, dc=domainname, dc=com
and user password (replace username and domainname with your own valuou.es).
Hope that works for y

What does it mean to be "Always On"?

Is your cloud always on? With an Always On cloud you won't have to worry about downtime for maintenance or software application code updates, ensuring that your bottom line isn't affected.

Finally in User IDentification add a logon agent (and DC agent if you wish)
