BlackBerry Storm: Is there a setting or an app for nagging?
My trusty Motorola nags me with a single beep when there is an unread message such as "Missed Call", "New Voicemail", or "New Message". I cannot find a setting on my Blackberry Storm to make it do the same thing. Sometimes a voicemail, email, or text message goes un-noticed for hours because I simply don't look at the screen that often.
Hi, from the home screen press the Profile icon at the top left (speaker icon) and scroll down to "Set Ring Tones\Alerts > Expand Messages > Select the item you wish to add an alert tone to > Set the tone, Volume etc > Exit and Save.
Here you go, there are a variety options on the Storm to configure this:

I apologize for the lack of complete information. What I miss about the Motorola is that it beeps every minute or so until I clear the message. The Storm merely beeps (or whatever ring tone is assigned) once when there is a new message including new email, missed call, new SMS message. Because it only beeps once, if I don't hear it, I miss it. I would like to find a way for the Storm to nag me every minute or so until I clear the message. In other words, any time there is a message indicator on the home screen, I want it to beep every so often until I pay attention to it.
Thank you.
Thank you.

I just tested the app http://www.bbymelsoftware.com/bbalerts/ as mentioned by jdera and it works ok on the Storm. The application isn't free but it is only $9.95US.

Thank you idera! This is *almost* exaclty what I was looking for - the only problem I have encountered in testing is that if the screen is tapped at all, the alert is cancelled. It's really easy to "accidentally tap the screen" while it's in the holster, whick is almost always. I wonder if maybe there's another app that provides alerts like this one does, but keeps alerting until the message is actually read and cleared. Sorry to be so demanding, but I can still miss alerts if the nag alert is cancelled so easily.
