how to do driver update on Macbook

Hi Guys

I have never done driver update on a macbook. I have a user who has macbook and it's wireless connection is constantly dropping.  I am not sure what the problem is, I have tested my wireless connection by connecting othere windows and  a macbook as well, and they are all working fine. I am assuming a driver update will be a good place to start right..?

I don't think so, as Apple got its own hardware I would rather think it is an hardware problem.

Apple will produce it's own software and drive updates when necessary.

What kind of wireless router are you connecting to(make and model)?

It is a sonic wall wireless router. tthis user who is having an issue now was able to connect to wireless signal no problem. This problem started happening recently, infact now I just found out that there are two users who have the exact same issue, they can connect to lan connection hosted by that same sonic wall router no problem.

So they can have Wireless connections to the LAN or only connect via the LAN ports on the Sonicwall device?  Is this the TZ series, if so which one?

To do a driver update, pull down the Apple Menu to Software Updates. If there is any newer Apple software available, it will automatically be downloaded.

I hope I am answering your question right. We have a sonic wall router that also has wireless to it. The macbook can connect to network if directly plugged into the sonic wall switch port. But when i try connect to Wlan it connects and drops like every three seconds. There are other windows and a macbook laptop(s) that can connect to same wireless with out any problem. It looks like it is a hardware problem right? It was working fine before.

Has I said I think it is a hardware problem unless you change the wifi protocol configuration.

Is there any chance you have change this configuration on your note book ?
