Anonymous FTP System Settings AIX (with POSIX compliant ftp account home directory)

what is the difference between Anonymous FTP System Settings AIX (with POSIX compliant ftp account home directory) and AIX (with AFS based ftp account home directory)

and how can i check these two on aix box

As i have to check which is applicable on my server and if applicable then to check

ftpd daemon options       If any directories will be made writable, the -u option must be used.

Please let me know the solution

anonymous ftp means that you can ftp to the system without  having to provide a valid username/password and this is for downloads. you may try to ftp to the system and put guest or anonymous as the username and your email address as password

Please find the excel file for more detail and guide me as i need to check both the things on the server means whichver applicable , i need a command or fille which need to check
ftp daemon is started from inetd and described in /etc/inetd.conf
normally anonymous account uses special user named "ftp" and ftp daemon handles usernames like anonymous, fetch and ftp
mentioned is impossible with default ftpd, you have to use proftpd (prebuilt in every software repo) or build pureftpd (best performing nowadays)
