What is the advantage of using Intel S5000VSA SATA server board system over HP XW6200 workstation? I want to use the HP XW6200 as s server with Microsoft  Windows Server2008 OS, for a small business (about 10 PCs).  Would I get the same performance between the two if it is only used for database entry?

for database entry i think you dont require such a high end system such as the intel server as databases does not take much system resources unless you will be using it 24/7 with sql server and a huge amount of data...if that is not the case then you should go with the hp workstation and save some cost and put it to good use....but if you are going to have the above scenario then go for intel
