Flash video in Dreamweaver CS3

I entered a flash video (file.flv) in dreamweaver CS3, but when I go to preview in Firefow or explorer, it doesn't play. I only get a white space.

check this line
<script src="Scripts/AC_RunActiveContent.js" type="text/javascript"></script>
Is this javascript really in folder scripts?
Also check is your swf movie located in the root of site (as in code)

Dear Kechka,

THe script and the swf-movie seem to be in the right place. Could there be something wrong with the flash video? I checked the video and it plays perfectly in a stand-alone flash player.
I never had this problem before.
Thank you for all your help.
Try to check your movie. Place some other movie (if you have some other movie which is working correctly in some other page) in the same folder and replace just file name of the movie in your code with the new movie name, and test it. If that movie is not working problem is with code, if this working then something is wrong with other video.

Dear Kechka,

I converted my flash video to new flash video, with an other converter program, than I used the first time, and now the video plays perfectly. So, this problem is solved.
Thank you!
Although I am still wondering what could have gone wrong with the first conversion (it was from mov to flv). Do Flash video converters also use different codecs, and could that be the problem (the video plays well in a flash player)? I could not choose a codec neither the first time I converted the video, nore the second time.
