I am having problems with ajax

i have a challenge. i am trying to nest three layered gridviews in ajax
asp.net. i in the 3rd layer i want to be able to commit changes to d
database and auto refresh the content of the two upper layers.

well, you question is quite general.
first, do it without ajax. after you could add the update panels to do it.
the easy way is putting the whaole thing (the first layer) into a update panel....

I will try to be more clear.
for a question with a title like the one you posted ("I am having problems with ajax"), I would assume that the "three layered gridviews" and the "ability to edit the 3rd layer" is done and working. if not, I would suggest that you start by doing it before event thinking of throwing AJAX into it.
layering gridview is a subject, commit changes is an other.
By the way, layeried gridview is called nested gridview; just google it and you will get manny exemple like this
