I have a small mpp with about 30 tasks. It has no outline structure (everything is at OutlineLevel 1). I am attempting to sort the tasks by finish date and want to renumber the tasks (ID) accordingly, but the Permanently Renumber Tasks selection on the Sort dialog is grayed out and cannot be selected. Does anybody know what could be causing this?

I found the solution - I was not displaying the WBS column: I added it to my table and then the dialog allowed me to renumber.
