Cisco ASA 5505 upgrade?

Right now, we have a basic 8-port Cisco ASA 5505 Unlimited with 10 Remote VPN and 2 SSL VPN licenses. Cost about $650.00. We have no support contract or partnership with Cisco.

What do we have to do to upgrade it so that it can support (2) WAN connections for failover, primary and secondary? How do we buy the upgrade license and from whom do we buy it?

    Accepted Solution

You can buy the SEC Plus upgrade
What you will get is a package with a serial number. It will have instructions for you to go to licensing at to register the license PAK with the asa's serial number and they will issue you a new license key that you put in on the ASA.
