How Do I Remove FrontPage extensions from a VB.NET 2005 Web Application

I built a VB.NET 2005 web application and accidentally opened one of the files using FrontPage.  Now my website is set up with FrontPage Extensions.  How do I remove this from my application?  My web app is developed on XP Pro and my production server is on Server 2003 without FrontPage extensions.  We do not have them installed on the production server and will not be installing them any time soon.  The biggest problem come in with how we deploy the projects to production.  We want it to be pre-compiled so the .vb files will not be copied to the server (a major security no-no)...
