Visio 2003 Grid Lines Distorted When Printed

I am working on a landscape design for my back yard.  I selected the checkbox to print the gridlines in Page Setup prior to printing the Visio 2003 file but, the grid lines are not printing uniformly.  They appear fine in the bottom right part of the page, but none appear at the top left.  I can generate a PDF file from the Visio document and it looks fine on-screen, but when I print the PDF, it gives the same results.

To reiterate, the grid looks correct on-screen in both Visio and Adobe Reader, but not when printed with either.  I am attaching the file and am not sure if it's an issue with my printer or an issue with the file.  I'd appreciate any help with getting uniform grid lines to print.  Thanks.

Adding Visio file.  Please rename .doc to .vsd.

All of the grid lines print on my HP Deskjet printer so there may be an issue with your printer. You should be able to prove the point by creating a new drawing, dropping a couple of random shapes on the page, then printing with grid lines on. If you get the same result, I think the printer or printer driver is the culprit.

As a workaround, I was able to print via SnagIt, a screen capture program.  I could then sporadically print from Visio and the PDF.  I'll chalk this up to a printer or software issue temporarily, not a Visio limitation.  Good suggestions scott.  Thanks.
