Hi Experts,

I have Exchange2003 Front and Backend servers configured in a AD2003 environment.

Recently some users moaning about the login problem to OMA from their mobile phones.
I checked the log and found so many Warnings as below:
Event Type:      Warning
Event Source:      MSExchangeOMA
Event Category:      (1000)
Event ID:      1102
Date:            2009/04/28
Time:            16:03:21
User:            N/A
Computer:      OWAservername
Description:
User domain\user tried to access the session belonging to domain\another user name; request was denied.

Its symptom is when users try to login by typing ID and PW, it returns to the credential page again, and it continues for a certain period of time like 1 - 2 hours.

We also use OWA and RPCoverHTTP.
If anyone has an idea of what is going on..

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

that message is supposed to mean that someone is trying to access the session using different credentials than the original.  It might mean that the server is issuing duplicate session data, or it could be some kind of cookie caching problem on the client.

are all client devices the same software and version?

perhaps you can try using fiddler (www.fiddlertool.com) on the server side to inspect the session information being passed with these problematic requests.

Cheers.

Hi meverest,

Thanks for your comment.

No, all users are using a various types of mobile phones.
I restarted the Exchange MobileBrowseApplicationPool few times and the errors are not shown since then.
I will ask the users to test the connection.

Thanks.

I guess it is not impossible that a restart of the app pool might cause a duplicated session ID to be created, but at the same time, I would not consider it likely.

If you can get some logs from fiddler while the problem is happening, that would be a good start to some reasonable diagnostics.

Cheers.

Hi,

It was fine for a while but the error started again since yesterday.
I will try to install fiddler over this weekend along with other maintenance.

Thanks.
