Forwarding of or Copies of Calendar Appointments

Setup:

Windows 2003 AD
Exchange 2007
Outlook 2003 Clients

Problem:

One calendar is forwarding on or copiing on calendar appointments (requested by another user via outlook) to 3 other users.

There were permissions on the calendar in question allowing editor permission for these 3 users.  - We have now removed any share/permissions on this calendar.
In exchange properties of his mailbox, send on behalf was also setup for the same 3 users. - Now also removed.
There was also an out of office rule setup to forward on any messags from his mailbox to these 3x other users. Also deleted.

We have downloaded the address book and done a 'send receive all' on the mailbox but these 3 users are still getting appoinements.

Ideas?

isnt an NDR im afraid.  it appears that exchange or AD still thinks that the 3x users should receive a copy of the appoinment, even after the 3 users have been deleted.
