SQL2000 on Windows 7 (XP mode)

I have kept an old laptop running with Windows XP, so that I can support a client using SQL2000.  I have been reading about XP mode on Windows 7.  Does this mean I will be able to run it on my every-day laptop?

    Thanks for that.

    As far as my processor is concerned, I'm ok, it has VT support and plenty of RAM is available.

    Then it should be OK. Bear in mind that this is not a time tested capability, so we cannot tell right now what compatibility problems you might encounter in running SQL 2000.
