OK - this is one of those tech questions that simply pisses me off that I even have to ask it. I am logged into mysql. I create a database. Then I try to grant all permissions on that database to another user and I receive the message that I (the user that just created the database) is denied access to the database.<br />

OK - this is one of those tech questions that simply pisses me off that I even have to ask it. I am logged into mysql. I create a database. Then I try to grant all permissions on that database to another user and I receive the message that I (the user that just created the database) is denied access to the database.

What am I doing wrong?

why is access denied to my user right after i create the database? How do i fix it?
