jcimarron - that suggestion is common on the web and does not work. &nbsp;Reinstalling IE8 brings back the problem. &nbsp;The original problem remains unsolved... installing IE8 causes the background of my sidebar gadgets to turn pink.

I just installed IE8 on my Vista64 machine, and my sidebar gadgets now show up with a pink background color.  Setting the DPI to 96 helps, but some gadgets are still in the wrong color.
