Parent to Child Domain GPO replication

I believe When applying a GPO at the parent Domain, it should flow down to all child domains, if the policy is not blocked.
This is a password policy set up at the parent domain.
I would like to know how long it takes to the GPO to replicate to other Child domains that are in different sites but in the same geographical location(in the same buliding)

    Accepted Solution

For win2k3 or older, password policy is specific to domain. They don't share the same policy. Separate GPO needs to be managed per domain.
