Can you run adprep/forestprep on a Windows 2003 server that has Exchange 2003 on it and is a domain controller (on the same machine) to add another domain controller that has 2003R2 on it for a new domain in the same forest?

    Accepted Solution

You just can't promote/demote a machine running Exchange.

    Assisted Solution

Prep is a per domain thing. If you have already run prep then you don't need to run again in that domain. You just need to run it on the child domain.
