Control Auto Archiving via Group Policies.

I have read that you can Control Auto Archiving via Group Policies by using the Outlk12.adm from the 2007 Office System Administrative Templates. How do I get the templates in the Group Policies?

I have one domain controller that is a SBS 2008.

Hi,
  • Copy the ADM file somewhere on the DC
  • Start Group Policy Management Console (GPMC) on the Domain Controller.
  • Goto the Policy | Right click Edit
  • Group Policy Editor would open up
  • Right Click on Administrative Templates | Add/Remove Templates
Rest is pretty straight forward, after importing you also got to make sure that GPO is being applied to the PC
Let me know
Thanks

Auto Archiving Group policy settings - first on Administrative Templates: Add Remove Templates
outlk12 - which you have to download
Classic Administrative Templates - Microsoft Office Outlook 2007, Tools|Options..., Perferences, E-mail Options, Advanced E-mail Options, AutoArchive Settings, Properties
