Hello Experts,

I am finally starting my new adventure in learing SQL Server 2005.  Our SQL Server DBA is finally looking a retiring and I will be taking over his post.  I will be starting training with him in July but just wanted to get a jump start. I have been working with Oracle on and of for more than 7 years now. My question to you is were would you go to download SQL Server 2005 Enterprise Edition.  I would like to download this edition on my laptop and start playing around with it.  With Oracle you can download say version 9i or 10g with a test database. I know that Microsoft must have the same thing. If you can take a second and point me to the right area I would surely be greatful........ thanks in advance........

Trial versions can be downloaded from Microsoft;s website

If you have a technet subscription you can download all their products for testing use!

Latest version of MS SQL is 2008, but here is the 2005 information

You both give me what I wanted.  So both of your feedback were accepted solutions. I believe you can only have one accepted solution. Anyway I tried spliting the points. Did not meant to disappoint you.
