I have a fresh Windows install with VMWare Server installed.

I have 3 machines that have been migrated from VMWare workstation on it and they work fine apart from the network side of things. I am a beginner at this.

I want my host machine to be able to reach the internet but i want my three virtual machines isolated from it. But i want my 3 virtual machines to be able to connect to each other as they are all part of a domain (local only).

Thanks in advance.

There should be an network optio  of either have the vm's bridged or NAT and host only. You will want them to set to host only if you do not want them to get outside the server.

What are the ips and gateways it handed out to each of them? Can you ping them all from the main host?

IP's are
vms: 192.168.240.XXX
host: 192.168.227.XXX

I only have two on at the moment

I can ping both server names from host but cannot ping host from vmserver.

Gateways are blank, should they be?
