I can not expand into a folder on my server within an application.

I am running SBS 08 as our domain server and we are storing all our files on this server. There is a certain folder "Projects" that when I try and expand this folder withing an application "Primavera" as well as others, it will not allow me to see any deeper into the folder. I can expand into other folders but not this one. Is there a setting withing permissions or sharing that could be causing this?

Can you expand the folder using Windows Explorer?  If not, then it's an NTFS permissions setting on the folder.  If you can, and assuming that the Primavera software doesn't use a service account, then it's a problem with the Primavera software and you should contact them.

If the software does use a service account, then you should check the NTFS permissions for that account on the folder.
