Experts,
I am living in somewhere in Hong Kong. There have a club house and having wifi service.
But it is hidden, I got wifi name, login, password already. Each times I goto clubhouse I needs to input wifi details (wifi name, login, password) on my iphone, it is some of inconvenient.
My question is could I save club house wifi service details on my iphone and switch to that wifi service when I arrived my club house?

Thanks!

From the Settings app, choose the Wi-Fi option, then select other network.  From there you can enter the SSID of the wifi network, choose the security type, and provide the password.  From there, it should now be added to your wireless networks.

There iPhone should remember the WiFi network even though the SSID is hidden and you had to stype it in.
Can you make sure that you are running the latest firmware?

Dear MrBookins, JohnGerhardt
Yes, I am able to connect wifi service at club house.
But my question means after I leave club house and go back club house after several days. I needs to retype in wifi name, login, password again and again.
So, is there a way to save wifi name, login, password on my iPhone and switch to that wifi account from setting app -> Wi-Fi option when I go back to club house?

remark: my iPhone firmware is 2.2.1

Thanks

What does it mean to be "Always On"?

Is your cloud always on? With an Always On cloud you won't have to worry about downtime for maintenance or software application code updates, ensuring that your bottom line isn't affected.

Francis,
What you have described is the default working of the iPhone. I have been using my phone for about 1.5 years now and everytime I am at a friends house I add there wifi to me list. Now the phone remembers it when I next arrive there.
At the club house is the SSID or the key changing or are you using the same one each time...?

JohnGerhardt,

There is no SSID, it is hidden. The only persons who living in that building able to known that SSID.
It will not show it in wifi list from control panel (setting)
So, everytimes I goto that club house I needs to re-enter SSID, login, password at everytimes.
From my iPhone it is not able to detect that wifi by itself (cause of hidden)

my iPhone : 3g 8G fireware 2.2.1

Thank you!

Ah ha hidden SSIDs..
I have a number of hidden SSIDs "remembered" on my phone. BUT  ever so often I need to retype the info in (as you have said). This still happends on the latest firmware and therefore I am pretty sure it is a bug....
Sorry!

Yes, I have a number of hidden SSID's that are stored on my phone for a number of enterprise wireless systems.
But like I said I have the same trouble that you seem to be having in that some times the phone managed to "forget" them. That said it doesn't happen every time, just ever so often. I am pretty sure that this is a bug...
