Cisco 1721 static Arp entry
Hi,
I have a cisco 1721 router that is connected to an MPLS network via bonded T-1s. We have recently Network load balanced our terminal/citrix servers to an ip address of 192.168.1.2. It is setup as a multicast load balance in microsoft LB manager.
My problem is that:
1. the address is working locally on my LAN. Workstations on the 192.168.1.0/24 network can access the 192.168.1.2 without a problem. Any networks past my router are not able to get to the IP address. The router is not routing the requests to that IP address. I had opened another EE question( https://www.experts-exchange.com/questions/24330252/can't-access-Microsoft-Network-Load-balanced-IP-from-outside-network.html) and experts have determined that I should add a static ARP entry into the router in order to get the NLB address routed.
2. The router is ISP managed and I do not have admin access to the router.
3. The ISP doesn't seem to know what I'm talking about when I explain this to them but are willing to try the commands I want processed on the router, but do not know what the command is.
What is the command I would need to add a static arp entry on this router for the following IP address?
NLB IP ADDRESS: 192.168.1.2
NLB MAC ADDRESS: 03-bf-c0-a8-01-02
