Outlook won't work with sbs2003 exchange outside the company.

I have set up an SBS2003 server to use Exchange for e-mail as I have done many times.  The problem is that I have users that work from home but when I configure Outlook for the POP3 account with mail.domain.com is incoming and outgoing it doesn't find the server.  OWA and e-mail from inside works and MX records are all correct.

How do I fix this?

POP is a very old and unsuitable protocol to ahve remote access to your email with an Outlook client.

Why don't you run Outlook Anywhere, making use of the full Outlook functionality?
