I have an ESX 3.5 server containing a few VM's. There is no SAN involved. I have a Dell PowerEdge 2650 server containing Backup Exec and VCB software. Virtual Center Server is not installed on that server. Is it possible to backup an image of one the VM's using Backup Exec? I was able to backup the image using VCB through command line to put the image on the Backup Exec server but I have having issues trying to backup the image using Backup Exec.

In the config file, do I type in the ESX server with name and password or do I type in the Backup Exec server with username and password?
