BackupExec Files Skipped

Hi,

Our client has a server dedicated to running BackupExec 12.5 for the backup of three servers. One of the servers runs SQL 2005. The SQL 2005 server always fails to have the following files backed up...

Unable to open the item \\LPDSQL01\C:\WINDOWS\system32\icurblock.dat - skipped
Unable to open the item \\LPDSQL01\C:\WINDOWS\system32\isnaptimes.dat - skipped
Unable to open the item \\LPDSQL01\C:\WINDOWS\system32\istatus.dat - skipped

My question is, what are these files and should they be backed up or can this error be ignored.

Thanks.

I don't think so it is related to backup of your database, you can ignore it.

forgot to mention, those files are not at all related to any version of SQL Server as well.

Hi,

Sorry for the delay in replying - It is good that they are not SQL related but do you know what are they related to?

They are using a product called InSQL, whcih is a real time manufacturing process instrumentation configuration and logging system. It could be that - thanks.
