OC48 to GigE

I have a customer that's trying to get something in place for OC12 and OC48 channelized access into MPLS. He needs channelized OC12/OC48 in on one side and hand off to ethernet on the other.  My first thought was 15454 with OC12/OC48 in on one side and ethernet handoff coming from a ML series cards on the other
Any other recommendations or experiences?

Thanks,
Matt

Are you providing this transport? You must have dark fiber available? ONS is a very good solution.

If you are not providing this transport then an ISP will provide it and it is up to that provider what is
extended to get the proper interface to the customer.

Why does the customer care what is on the provider side (0c12/oc48) ? I understand their requirement for the customer side.

More information is required.
