I'm working with VS 2008 but can not reduce the grid size in the Designer.  I need to adjust the locations of certain fields in the report, and want to use the keyboard to do it.  But the grid size it too large and moves the control too much.

Can someone tell me how to reduce this?

Thanks,

Go to the Tools menu, and select Options.  From the list on the left, select Windows Form Designer, and then select the subentry "General".  There will be options on the left to alter the Grid Size, adjust the layout mode, etc.  Is this what you're looking for?

Also, there is a property of Windows forms called SnapToGrid. You can set this to False for fine control of the positioning.
